Little is known of the goddess Nott, she is the daughter of Norvi and mother of Dagr and Jord. She is also grandmother of Thor, Her husband is Dellingr. Her name means ‘Night.’ Odin gifted her a chariot and horse called Hrimfaxi, or ‘Frost mane,’ whose bit produces dew. He cast her into to the sky to ride before her son Dagr and pull around Night time every 24 hours. She also inspires people who have creative blockages.
