Witchy Wednesdays - Dandelion

Common weeds they have serrated dark green leaves, with bright yellow flowers on a single stem. Once flowered they turn into seedling puffs of white in colour , and are a great source of pollen for honeybees. Its name comes from the French ‘ Dent de Lion’ meaning the tooth of the lion. Dandelion tea is brewed from the flower heads and drunk to increase psychic abilities and pouring boiling water over the roots will help when calling spirits. It is also used medicinally for issues relating to the liver and kidneys as a diuretic in cleansing tonics. A good note is that they grow almost anywhere and across at least three continents and are therefore in abundance.
