Little is known of the God Dagr, He is the son of Dellingr and Nott and brother of Jord. He is described as bright and beautiful. Odin gifted him a chariot and horse called Skinfaxi ‘Shining mane,’ and cast him into the sky to ride around the cosmos every 24 hours pulling around the Daytime. His name means ‘Day.’
