Witchy Wednesdays- Lungwort

Lungwort is a member of the borage family of plants, it grows to about 35cm tall with 15cm flowers ranging in blue, white, red or violet. It is a native of Europe and likes to grow in shady places. Lungwort is associated with the element air and is used for protection when travelling by air. Adding 2 tsp to 250ml of boiling water and leaving to stand for 10 mins will create an infusion or tea and if taken three times a day will be a great cure for Sore throats and coughs and finally in cooking you can add the leaves to soups and stews.
