Freyja’s Fridays - Skerpla - 14th May - 12th June Skerpla is the continuation of the celebrations of female spirits from the previous month, particularly that of the Disir. Disir or “Lady” are female spirits in Norse lore associated with being spirits of dead female ancestors. They are similar to that of the Vaettr in nature but can be benevolent or antagonistic towards mortals. They are often linked to fate.
